Michael Vick has spend years since his conviction for running a dog-fighting ring trying to apologies to the public. He has been on TV, done community work and contributed to dog charities.
Since he has served his jail term and passed probation, the are no longer restrictions on Vick’s ability to own dogs. Which brings me to the question? What is Michael Vick hiding?
Looking at a home picture Vick put on Twitter, an eagle-eyed blogger spotted an incriminating item – a packet of dog treats on the table. You can see them in the right corner of the table on the picture above.
Now, faced with a public relations disaster like this Michael had a number of options:
1. Come clean and announce that you own a dog. Then parade a cute, healthy dog in front of TV cameras.
2. Deny that you own a dog – claim that the dog food box was used by the daughter in a craft project or something.
Vick didn’t take either of two options. Instead he remained silent and quickly updated the Twitter photo with an airbrushed version minus the dog treat box.
So once again, I ask a question. If Vick is not breaking the law, what does he have to hide?
